The Patrol Division of the Seguin Police Department is comprised of 28
uniformed patrol officers, 3 patrol sergeants and 5 corporals. The Patrol Division
consists of three 10 hour shifts, which provides for more intensified protection
during peak hours. The Patrol Division officers are assigned to marked
police patrols. These officers provide services 7 days a week, 24 hours a
day, encompassing responses to all types of emergency and non-emergency
calls for service by the Seguin Citizens.
There are 4 of the patrol officers that
have a Canine assigned to them. There is 1 uniform officer assigned to Municipal Courts as a bailiff and warrant officer. The Department also has 1 part time Motorcycle Traffic Officer.
Our officers not only protect the citizens of Seguin, but also provide
community service in many areas.
